Horford posted 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and two rebounds in 27 minutes during Friday's 119-81 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Horford didn't have a tangible impact, going down with the ship as Boston was bundled out of the playoffs. Tasked with playing a bigger role than expected during the postseason due to the fact that Kristaps Porzingis was dealing with an ongoing illness, Horford had some moments but was largely a wash, at best. He played 60 games during the regular season, averaging 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 27.6 minutes per game.

Celtics Injury Report
Latest Celtics News
Al Horford : Empty performance Friday
Derrick White : Quiet in Game 6 loss
White accumulated eight points (3-11 FG, 2-8 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Friday's 119-81 loss to New York in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. White saved his worst for last, joining his teammates by putting up arguably the Celtics' most disappointing performance of the season. Despite the rough ending, it was another strong season for White, who demonstrated his elite two-way skills while averaging 16.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.1 blocks and 3.5 three-pointers. With Jayson Tatum set to miss a sizeable chunk of the 2025-26 season due to an Achilles injury, White's importance to this team can't be overstated.
Jaylen Brown : Played through torn meniscus
Brown finished the 2025 NBA Playoffs with a partially torn right meniscus, and he'll be evaluated in the coming days to assess the possibility of surgery, Ramona Shelbourne of ESPN.com reports. Brown missed the final three games of the regular season while dealing with the injury, and after Boston lost Game 6 against the Knicks on Friday, it was revealed that the star forward had been playing through pain in the playoffs as well. It's unclear whether Brown will undergo surgery, and a timetable for his recovery won't be revealed until there's clarity on what he'll do during the offseason. Brown averaged 22.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game during the playoffs for Boston.
Jrue Holiday : Struggles in elimination game
Holiday supplied four points (1-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 119-81 loss to New York in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Holiday had a miserable showing Friday, but the same was true for most of Boston's roster. In his age-34 season, Holiday took a noticeable step back. Across 62 regular-season games, he produced 11.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals on 44.3 percent shooting from the field. With Jayson Tatum (Achilles) facing a lengthy rehab, there could be some major changes in Boston this offseason if the rumor mill is any indication.
Payton Pritchard : Scores 11 points in loss
Pritchard ended with 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes during Friday's 119-81 loss to New York in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The NBA's Sixth Man of the Year, Pritchard had a terrific 2024-25 campaign for the Celtics. Across 80 regular-season contests, Pritchard averaged 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from beyond the arc. A larger role for Pritchard could be on the table in 2025-26 due to Jayson Tatum (Achilles) facing a lengthy rehab.
Sam Hauser : Notches six points
Hauser produced six points (2-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and three rebounds in 15 minutes during Friday's 119-81 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Hauser, who has three years left on his deal, established himself as a key role player for Boston in 2024-25. He made 71 regular-season appearances, posting averages of 8.5 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 41.6 percent from beyond the arc. With Jayson Tatum (Achilles) facing a lengthy rehab, Hauser could see an expanded role in 2025-26.
Luke Kornet : Muted performance in loss
Kornet chipped in five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 21 minutes during Friday's 119-81 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Kornet drew the start in place of Kristaps Porzingis, who has been battling an illness for quite a while. Unlike his heroic Game 5, however, Kornet wasn't able to produce an encore performance in the blowout loss. Kornet, who is set to become a free agent, should draw considerable interest this offseason. During the regular season, Kornet appeared in 73 games with 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 blocks in 18.6 minutes.
Kristaps Porzingis : Sees 11 minutes in Game 6
Porzingis closed Friday's 119-81 loss to New York in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with four points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and one block across 11 minutes. Throughout the postseason, and especially in this series, it's been very evident that Porzingis is far from 100 percent. The franchise will be hopeful that he can recover his health over the long offseason. Although he had his fair share of injuries in the regular season, he was terrific when healthy, as he averaged 19.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 blocks in 42 regular-season contests.
