On mend from shoulder surgery

Triple-A Las Vegas placed Salinas on its full-season injured list after he underwent surgery on his right shoulder July 24, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports. He presumably tried the rest-and-rehab route to treat the injury, but after making limited progress over the ensuing two months, he ended up being sent in for surgery. Salinas will miss the rest of the season, and his availability for the 2025 campaign could be in jeopardy as well.

Triple-A Las Vegas placed Salinas on its 7-day injured list June 2 with an unspecified injury. Salinas was deactivated just three days after he was roughed up for four earned runs on three hits and five walks over 2.1 innings in his return to the Pacific Coast League after he had made his prior three starts with Double-A Midland.
