Traded to Mariners

The Mariners acquired Jacques from the Dodgers on Monday in exchange for Will Klein, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports. Jacques has spent the entirety of the 2025 campaign at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he's posted a 6.04 ERA but also a 24:8 K:BB over 22.1 innings. He will provide the Mariners with some experienced left-handed relief depth at Triple-A Tacoma.
Inks minors deal with LAD

Jacques signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Saturday and received an invitation to spring training, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports. Jacques spent most of his time in the minors last season, turning in a 5.40 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 41.2 innings between the Red Sox's and Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliates. Given the 29-year-old lefty's subpar performance and the Dodgers' existing pitching depth, there is little chance Jacques spends much time outside of Triple-A Oklahoma City in 2025.
Clears waivers, stays in organization

The Diamondbacks outrighted Jacques to Triple-A Reno on July 30. Jacques ended up sticking around in the Arizona organization after he cleared waivers upon being designated for assignment July 26. Since reporting back to Reno on Aug. 3, Jacques has given up five runs (three earned) while striking out seven across five innings over five relief outings.
Designated for assignment

The Diamondbacks designated Jacques for assignment Thursday. The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for A.J. Puk, who was acquired via trade from the Marlins. Jacques permitted two runs over 1.1 innings in his lone appearance with Arizona this season.
Back down to Reno

The Diamondbacks optioned Jacques to Triple-A Reno on Monday. Jacques will return to Reno to make room on the 26-man roster for Yilber Diaz, who is making his major-league debut Monday against Atlanta. Jacques was called up by Arizona on July 4 and his only outing since then came one day later against the Padres, when he gave up two runs on three hits and one walk over 1.1 innings. In 15 games with Reno this season, Jacques has a 4.58 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across 17.2 frames.
Back in majors

The Diamondbacks recalled Jacques from Triple-A Reno on Thursday. Since being claimed off waivers from Boston in April, Jacuqes has recorded a 4.58 ERA and 1.51 WHIP through 17.2 innings with Reno. He'll now join the big-league roster to add some depth to Arizona's bullpen, and Cristian Mena will head back to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
Sent back to Reno

The Diamondbacks optioned Jacques to Triple-A Reno on Friday. One day after coming up from the minors, Jacques will now return to Triple-A following the arrival of Thyago Vieira, who was claimed off waivers from Baltimore on Thursday. Jacques has allowed seven earned runs in just 6.1 innings since joining the Diamondbacks organization in April, and a return to Arizona isn't likely, barring a significant turnaround.
Recalled from Triple-A

The Diamondbacks recalled Jacques from Triple-A Reno on Thursday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 in Houston reports. Jacques was claimed off waivers from the Red Sox in late April and has spent most of the season at the Triple-A level, allowing 14 runs over 10.1 innings. The left-handed reliever holds a career 5.08 ERA and 22:10 K:BB across 28.1 innings during his time in the majors.
Claimed by Arizona

The Diamondbacks claimed Jacques off waivers from the Red Sox on Tuesday and optioned him to Triple-A Reno, Andrew Parker of Beyond the Monster reports. Jacques had been designated for assignment after making one appearance this season for Boston. The left-hander holds a career 5.08 ERA, 22:10 K:BB and 63 percent groundball rate over 28.1 innings at the major-league level.
